In the selfie era, the true portraiture photography gains even more importance. It’s a story told “from the outside” which sums up – as it has to – the way we see ourselves and the way others see us, but also (and especially) who we are: it goes deep down, unveiling our soul. To reach this goal, the challenge is not limited to finding the right light, to capturing that expression appearing and disappearing in an instant. Making the perfect portrait is like writing a novel (everyone should deserve a specific monography) and then condensing it in a shot, which can make all understand our universe, i.e. everyone who really wants to know us. Image is not just what we are: we are made of matter, emotions, feelings, energy. However, if their skills empower the photographer to go deeper (and we are committed in always doing so), the picture may contain everything.
